Ahmad Fauzi Amir Hamzah

Aizat Amir (b. 1989, Ipoh, Perak) is a Kuala Lumpur–based art practitioner and lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, ASWARA. He holds a Master of Creative Arts (Visual), a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Visual Art), and a Diploma in Fine Arts from ASWARA.
His practice draws from his surroundings, engaging with historical, social, and cultural themes through critical perspectives and mixed-media approaches. Aizat has exhibited widely in Malaysia and abroad, including in Tunisia, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Belgium.
He was the youngest Malaysian representative at EchoChamber (Düsseldorf, 2020) and participated in the 17th International Festival of Des Arts Plastiques (Monastir, Tunisia, 2019). His debut solo exhibition, Reach for the Gold, took place at KL Tower in 2018.

Aznan Bin Omar earned his BA in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture, from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah
Alam in 1995. He obtained his MA in Art as Environment Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University, United
Kingdom, in 2008. He completed his Ph.D. in Fine Art with a focus on Studio Practice in Sculpture from Universiti
Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). Since 1998, he has been a lecturer at UiTM, Perak Branch. Currently, Aznan continues
to inspire and educate students in the field of Fine Arts while actively engaging in his own artistic endeavors,
contributing significantly to the advancement of the discipline.

Florene Ejot Masanat is a lecturer in the Fine Arts programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak, Malaysia. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), with research interests in contemporary visual arts, Iban folklore, arts-based research, cultural heritage, and art for health and well-being. Her work integrates creative practice, community engagement, and interdisciplinary research to promote sustainable and socially impactful art practices.

Hairulnisak Merman is a lecturer at the Faculty of Art and Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Perak Branch, Malaysia, and a PhD researcher specializing in visual arts, intellectual property, and cultural policy. Her research focuses on the development of a Resale Royalty Rights (RRR) framework for visual artists in Malaysia, with particular emphasis on copyright law, institutional governance, collective management organizations (CMOs), and sustainable creative economy policies.
She is actively involved in academic research, scholarly publications, conference presentations, and collaborative engagements with government agencies, policymakers, legal experts, and stakeholders within the visual arts ecosystem. Her work aims to contribute to evidence-based policy development and strengthen the long-term sustainability of Malaysia's visual arts sector.
Beyond academia, Hairulnisak is also the founder of a handmade soap brand, where she combines creativity, design, and craftsmanship to produce artisanal skincare products. This entrepreneurial venture reflects her passion for integrating artistic practice with innovation and community engagement.

Faizal Suhif studied fine art at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM),Malacca and then UiTM,ShahAlam,graduating with a masters in 2013. Specializing in printmaking. He is a key member of the printmaking collective Go Block and a founding member of printmaking studio Chetak17.
Printmaker, painter and mixed media artist. The art of Faizal Suhif is strongly influenced by the land, farming, soil and the process of planting, which came from growing up in a farming family in Johor. By focusing his visual expressions on the natural world, he makes extensive use of organic materials such as vegetables, tapioca, lava, seeds, shells, pebbles and insects with the purpose of drawing audiences into the space and connections between man, nature and art. He combines textual qualities of textile and printmaking processes, mono prints, earthy tones, patterns of soil and floating seeds and has developed his own special printmaking techniques and methods such as block print and cement cut. Has held 9 solo shows and participated in over 300 group shows in Malaysia, Bangladesh, USA, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Indonesia, India, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Taiwan, Beijing, Macedonia, Turkiye and Paris.

finds contentment in her role as an IGCSE art teacher at
Tenby International School in Ipoh, all while passionately
pursuing her career as a freelance illustrator. Her artistic
expression is notable for its digital medium, highlighted
through illustrations featured in children's books
distributed both nationally and globally since 2011.
Additionally, she is currently immersed in producing
printmaking artworks and holds membership in the
artistic collective known as Blok 22.
